HiBoost Travel 2.0 RV Cell Phone Booster

I used this product while camping to boost my cell phone signal in my camper. It boosted the signal by at least one bar, several bars if I was right next to it. I would recommend this product鈥?if there is a signal available, it will boost it.

Although the product did not boost our signal, the HiBoost Tech support tried everything and was responsive to our concerns. We truly appreciated his time and efforts.

We started out with just a t-mobile home internet device which is a great 5G wireless hotspot device for $65 a month. However since it requires a good line of site with cell towers and we were camping far away from the city, we were getting "OK" service with around 2 bars (called "weak" by the device). Sure it was working, but the signal was still spotty and occasionally dropped zoom calls. Having recently bough the HiBoost Signal Booster for RV we had not yet installed it, but when my work zoom call dropped, I figured it was time to install the booster to see if it would get us sorted.
Boy did it! We mounted the antenna up high on to the top of our ladder, this placed the top of the outside booster antenna at about 15.5 feet in the air, and ran the cable down, through a vent into the toy hauler. Once connected up and powered, we placed the t-mobile device a foot away from the indoor antenna and did some speed tests. We were blown away to 4 or 5 bars on the t-mobile device and download speeds of over 400MBps! Wow, zoom calls now are solid and we can download anything in blazing speeds.
This Booster was totally worth the price for us.

Product reviewing: HiBoost RV Cell Phone Booster Kit 4G 5G LTE Signal Boost. I use AT&T. I own a 19' camper van with 3 moon windows just behind the captain chairs.I placed the Outside Omni-Directional Antenna in the middle back of roof and took the cable cord through my air conditioner vent, along the wall of a cabinet to about 3' in for best fit and screwed on inside wall of one of my top open cabinets. Then took the Inside Magnetic Antenna with 13ft Cable along top of cabinet using tea hooks to the last cabinet behind the captain driver side chair. I have 3 moon windows just above the cabinets on either side of captain chairs. Sometimes I would have to move the inside magnetic antenna to the other side. About 3x during my 4 week trip along the PNW coast I had to place the inside magnetic antenna on the dash which was cumbersome when living in the van. A few times I only had SOS... when under heavy trees and when out 5 miles on coast from a city so no towers around.Though it is pricy for what you actually get, it did 95% of time do the job. I was able to make phone calls, text, use apps and get on websites.
